I am sure you have all said this at one stage of your journey as a mumpreneur/ woman in business! Well we all flocked to this event when we found out that Penny Webb from Working Mums Masterclass was going to talk about Time Management. The main point of time management is to get strategies to implement into your family and work life otherwise all your good intentions are wasted.

Like the quote from actor and author Bill Cosby: "I don't know the key to success, but the key to failure is trying to please everybody."

Keep yourself organised with a Daily Planner, Weekly Planner and Monthly Planner. Keep a separate Weekly or Monthly Planner for the Family, listing each family member on it. {Banika's eco-friendly find is this chalkboard planner from Mooo.com.au }

Try and schedule your TO DO's e.g. answering emails from 7.30am till 8am, and then again at 10.30 till 11am and continue this over your whole day so you don't get bogged down by it, same for your Social Media which is a big time eater as we all know!

Get yourself an inbox and outbox tray which avoids all the clutter on your desk and will make sure you won't forget to pay those bills or sign those forms and send them off!

Another great suggestion was to put a piece of cork board inside your pantry door using double sided tape e.g. for each child and add their to do's on there, or anything they need for school/ kindy etc.

Most of us keep track of our business expenses or at least our bookkeeper/ accountant does this for us, but what about your personal expenses? Make sure you hold onto your receipts and if you are familiar with Excel it is very easy to create a form with columns for e.g. gifts, groceries, personal (hairdresser/ beautician/ manicure etc.), pets, home phone/ Internet etc. or check out the bookzkeeper survival kit.

Another great time saver is to plan your meals, have a weekly planner on your fridge and plan all your meals in advance. For suggestions of recipes go to www.tabletucker.com.au

The next major job in my household and I am sure I am not the only one! Is the cleaning/ organising of the actual household. For some great cleaning tips check out The Organised Housewife.

Personal tip: put a few plastic bags in your bin underneath, great storage for plastic bags, and time saver for when you need to empty out the bag of garbage and grab the next bag underneath!

{Diana's Tip "And my favourite, and this is between us women, tell your hubby that you have an appointment when you want some quiet time for yourself. Works every time!" }
